SPECIAL EVENTS
WOMEN ON THE MOVE/EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS
Join in on this peer support group meeting for women with disabilities to discuss issues and share experiences affecting us, in order to advocate for positive changes in our lives. FBCIL staff will be presenting information on emergency preparedness for people with disabilities in case of local imminent disasters such as hurricanes, flood, and terrorism.

COMPUTER ACCESS TRAINING PROGRAM (CATP)

OPENING THE DOOR TO MEDICAID
If you need information on Food Stamps, the Children's Health Insurance Program, Temporary Aid for Needy Families, the Women's Health Program, or any service provided by Medicaid, just walk through the doors of FBCIL on the designated day and time, and FBCIL's staff will assist you to get answers to questions you may have or complete applications to any of the Medicaid services.

TECHNOLOGY AT A GLANCE
Consumers learn how technology in life can benefit persons with disabilities at work, home, and play. Demonstration of JAWS software for people with visual impairment or blindness by Mr. Eduardo Rangel, Sr., representative from New Dimensions Learning Center. Mr. Carl Brunig, Christal Vision representative, will give hands on training on how to translate printed material to Braille. Lunch will be provided by Christal Vision.
